Concrete Turnout Installation Using TRACS (Turnout Remover and Carrier System)

At Werai, NSW, our team delivered the installation of two 1 in 18.5 concrete turnouts utilising our Turnout Remover and Carrier System (TRACS) machines. The turnouts were lifted and transported from their build location adjacent to site and positioned directly onto the track for installation. The TRACS system provided precise control during handling and placement, ensuring accurate alignment while significantly reducing manual handling and track occupation times. The works were completed ahead of the estimated schedule and achieved enhanced safety and efficiency outcomes compared to conventional turnout installation methods.
